Assignment

• Choose an animal you believe to be “wild” like the Fauves (this can also be a person!)

• Use texture to show how the animal or person feels (furry, slimy, scaly, etc.)

• Paint using bright, vivid colors like the Fauves.• Show your brush strokes• Don’t be afraid to exaggerate; remember, the Fauves

often portrayed things the way THEY saw them as individuals (subjectively)

• Try to focus on the FACE!
