exhibit, using imagery, color, lighting, and
depth.
2. Steady Grow’s themed exhibit with clear and
concise messaging on headers.
3. Deep Earth Academy’s creative use of a
floor graphic that extended from the back
wall image through the floor.
4. Disney Planet’s over the top thematic
exhibit with excellent use of props, color,
shape, and scale.
17 Things the E3 Exhibiting Effectiveness Evaluation Team Thought
Stood Out From the Crowd on the Show Floor

For the first-time, NSTA provided the E3 Exhibiting Effectiveness Evaluation program at the 2012 National
Conference. As a special bonus, the E3 evaluation team thought it would be beneficial and educational to
spotlight exhibits on the show floor displaying an extra dose of thoughtfulness, creativity and effectiveness.
Please understand these are not in any ranking order, and by no stretch are they the only ones, just the ones
that really jumped out to us as we walked through the Exhibit Hall. Enjoy!
5. Google’s use of a large red flashing arrow to
attract attention.
6. NASCAR's robotic car stem racetrack demo.
7. Ward’s thoughtful use of a make and take
station in the booth that was consistently busy.
8. Lego Education’s open and inviting theater
area with cool seating.
9. FANUC’s excellent use of color,
interchangeable back wall graphics and the dice
picking robotic demo.
10. ESTES use of their product as a furnishing
via the rocket table.
11. NEES tsunami simulator demonstration.
12. National Geographic's branding integration
of their yellow border into all aspects of their
exhibit, including the follow the yellow brick
floor graphics to the attendee photograph
station with the yellow frame.
13. Tru Green's whimsical booth design using
turf flooring and the character Watershed Fred.
14. Pearson's excellent messaging execution
in a product station.
15. Vernier’s well-designed exhibit,
communicating their messages at three
distinct viewing levels.
16. Texas Instruments large backlit rotating
company identification sign and well placed
product directional signage.
17. Carolina Bio Supplies wide array of live
science demos and creatures.
18. Sea World / Busch Gardens:
Live penguins & live snakes!!
