Polish Bank Association

Polish Bank Association (PBA) is a self-government organization of banks founded in 1991.

Membership in the ZBP is voluntary and open for all  banks created under the Polish law as well as for foreign credit institutions branches  operating  in the Republic of Poland.

103 Members- all of the commercial banks andlargest co-operative banks.

    

Statutory Tasks of PBA

The statutory tasks of the Association include:Representation of members’ interest in

contacts with government, parliament and general public;

HR development for the banking sector;Support and co-ordination of the inter-

bank infrastructure development including: Payment system; Customer scoring databases; Absorbtion of EU structural funds.
