This year has been a milestone for Houston Pets Alive!

In 2019, together, we have truly worked to fulfill our mission. We

have saved and found forever families for thousands of

animals, as well as kept hundreds of thousands of unwanted

animals off our streets... and we did all of this while moving

into a wonderful new facility and changing leadership.

Phew!

So, take a moment to read through HPA!'s 2019 Annual Report,

pat yourself on the back for all your hard work, and then spend

some time reflecting on all that we've accomplished!

There isn't anything we can't do when we work together.

2,181 LIVES SAVED

In 2019, Houston Pets Alive! was able

to "pull" and save 2,181 dogs, cats,

puppies, and kittens off of the

euthanasia list at local municipal

shelters.

1,897 ADOPTIONS

Houston Pets Alive! matched 1,897

animals with their forever homes in

2019 through virtual adoptions, on-site

adoption center, partner pet stores,

and third party adoption events.

237,720

STRAYS PREVENTED

1,503 animals were spayed or neutered

through Houston Pets Alive!'s surgery

center in 2019, which prevented an

estimated 237,720 unwanted animals

from roaming the our streets.
