1 Chronicles 16:34

Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His love endures forever.

Present in the sacrificial system: Leviticus 7:11-13 – …If he offers it as an expression of

thankfulness… …he is to offer cakes of bread made

without yeast and mixed with oil, wafers made without yeast and spread with oil, and cakes of fine flour well-kneaded and mixed with oil….

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song.

But I, with a song of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. Salvation comes from the LORD."

I will exalt you, O LORD, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me…. that my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever.

Colossians 3:17 -- And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

2 Corinthians 4:15 -- All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.

1 Timothy 4:4 -- For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving….

Hebrews 12:28 -- Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe….

Revelation 7:12 -- …saying: "Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!"

2 Corinthians 2:14 – But thanks be to

God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him.
