Saratov State Socio-Economic University

History university The university was founded in 1931 as the Saratov

financial and economic institute. In 1938 it is renamed into the Saratov credit and

economic institute. And in 1946 the Saratov credit and economic

institute is merged into the Saratov planned institute and received the new name - the Saratov economic institute.

Further, in 1994 the Saratov economic institute is renamed into the Saratov state economic academy.

Later, in 1999 the Saratov state economic academy is renamed into the Saratov state social and economic university.
