Feedback Mechanisms and Antagonistic Hormones
Calcitonin inhibits multiple hormones, one of which being testosterone
Releasing Hormones and Glands
When the testes produce little to none of their hormone (testosterone), it is called hypogonadism.
This leads to loss of quality of life, and has lead to many failed marriages.
It also has negative effects on vasculature, brain function, and metabolism. As these are all connected to the testosterone hormone.
What happens if the testes do not function properly?
Gonadotropin Therapy: Common drugs are Repronex, Bravelle, Follistim, and Gonal-F.
This is artificial hormones that stimulate the reproductive organs.
Proven mostly effective
What can be medically done to correct hypogonadism?
