Science at Sherston
School 2014-15
March 2014 Dr Tom Robson led a whole staff Science TD day where we raised awareness amongst staff of the recent changes to the curriculum for Science
From Sept 2014 Teachers are now using a 2 year rolling programme in Science
The newly acquired tredu teaching
resources are currently being used by all teachers
The impact of the new (2014) Science Curriculum
The Science policy has been recently updated and is awaiting agreement with staff and final ratification from Governors.

We are currently monitoring the teaching of Science at Sherston School by:-
Regularly checking teacher’s plans Book Scrutiny Pupils Voice Auditing resources Science TD day for all staff Observing lessons Updating the Science policy Collecting evidence through displays and photographs
and learning walks Supporting staff where appropriate
